*• La primera plataforma tiene énfasis para estudiantes y público general que desean capacitarse con conocimientos requeridos en la cuarta revolución industrial y la segunda, brinda un aprendizaje interactivo a docentes.*

**San José, Costa Rica. Lunes 27 de de abril del 2020.** El distanciamiento social ha abierto el paso a dedicar más tiempo a la capacitación virtual a través de plataformas educativas. Microsoft dispone de dos opciones gratuitas de aprendizaje en línea: [Microsoft Learn](https://docs.microsoft.com/es-es/learn/) y [Microsoft Educator Centre](https://education.microsoft.com/es-es).

 Microsoft Learn se enfoca en formar a estudiantes y público general interesados en aprender sobre las tecnologías de Microsoft y habilidades de Tecnologías de Información de mayor demanda en el mercado laboral y la industria 4.0, como el manejo de la nube, la inteligencia artificial, la ciencia de datos y la ciencia de la computación.

 La plataforma ofrece entrenamiento y rutas de aprendizaje basados en roles para desarrolladores, arquitectos de soluciones y administradores de *Azure*. También ofrece entrenamiento y rutas de aprendizaje basado en roles para *Microsoft Power BI*, *PowerApps* y *Dynamics*.

 “En Microsoft pensamos en un modelo educativo que evoluciona hacia la democratización del conocimiento permitiendo a las diferentes generaciones prepararse en las habilidades requeridas por el mundo laboral. Microsoft Learn nace bajo esta premisa, entregando cursos y contenidos totalmente gratis y autodirigidos que impulsan las carreras técnicas y profesionales, y a su vez, marcan una ruta clara hacia la empleabilidad gracias a la obtención de certificaciones reconocidas a nivel internacional por el sector tecnológico”, explicó Ineke Geesink, Gerente General de Microsoft Costa Rica.

 La plataforma es totalmente gratuita y dispone de más de 400 cursos y 23 idiomas, incluido el español. Los interesados pueden ingresar a: [https://docs.microsoft.com/es-es/learn/](https://docs.microsoft.com/es-es/learn/).

 Capacitación docente. Los docentes también pueden capacitarse de forma virtual mediante la plataforma Microsoft Educator Centre, donde podrán acceder de manera gratuita a cientos de horas de cursos autodirigidos y en libre demanda, que les permitirá robustecer sus competencias digitales y así como maximizar el resultado de sus clases en un ámbito virtual y remoto.

 Además, podrán compartir y aprender de experiencias de uso de tecnología con miles de docentes alrededor del mundo.

 “Pensamos en el rol docente, quienes tienen el gran reto de formar y liderar los procesos de aprendizaje de millones de niños, niñas y jóvenes en todo el mundo. Por esta razón, Microsoft ha dispuesto herramientas de capacitación docente para que fortalezcan sus habilidades digitales y conozcan metodologías de formación virtual, a través del Centro de Educadores de Microsoft”, indicó Margarita Morera, Gerente de Educación de Microsoft para Centroamérica.
